Zadnja leta živi v Ljubljani, kjer svoje bogato izročilo iz kulturne zakladnice afriških ritmov prenaša

tudi na mlade glasbenike po Sloveniji.

Mamourou Sanou from Burkina Faso has been immersed in the sounds of traditional African rhythms

since he was a little boy. He learnt traditional drumming from famous African musicians. As a

member of Dioulasso Ba Percussion and Deliya, he has performed in many concerts in Burkina Faso

and Europe.

For the past few years, he has been living in Ljubljana, where he is passing on his rich cultural

heritage of African rhythms to young musicians across Slovenia.
