The first edition of IndieRE from Radio Corax in Halle in 2025 celebrates the vibrant Indie/DIY scene of Halle and Leipzig. Loads of punk, electronic music and hip-hop. But what are musical genres anyways? Babykopfjunge sing about osmosis and money from Europe. Things that we heavily rely on, a great opportunity to think about economics or chemistry. Punks in Halle have a common foe, its reconstruction and gentrification. Britneys Fears sing about it and Die Sanierer have named themselves after it. The band Distant Relatives sing about sunburned teeth that keep you from smiling, so better brush your teeth properly. Take care and support your local music scene.
