"Mixtape Malpractice: A New Problem"

"I'm writing my debut mixtape, and I was wondering how many songs I should put on it? I know it's optional, but what do you personally think? Should I put a lot of songs (around 17) on it to show people that hear it what my music is like? Or give them just enough songs (around 7 or so) to show them what my music is about? (I know that kind of got confusing. But 10 points awarded for best answer!)
